A complaint has been filed by attorneys general from 19 states and DC in an attempt to block Postmaster General Louis Dejoy's plan that would result in slower mail deliveries and higher rates.

The complaint alleges that a thorough review of the plan has not been completed. Only two requests for opinion from the Postal Regulatory Commission have been submitted thus far.

Only the Board of Governors can remove DeJoy from his position, but President Biden is working to confirm nominees to the board.
