Henry Tarrio, known as "Enrique" has pleaded with the Judge to be released early from prison claiming inhumane conditions, stating: “I’ve been to jail before and what I’ve seen here, I’ve never seen anywhere else."
Enrique was sentenced to serve five months in jail for the burning of a BLM flag that was stolen from a church, but is requesting a reduced stay of only 90 days.

He claimed that his jail cell was repeatedly flooded, the food was inedible, and that he witnessed medical neglect of another prisoner. He also stated: “I’m deathly afraid that something is going to happen to me.”
